Microorganisms Genomics Laboratory carries out fundamental and applied researches on genomes of Microorganisms, training highly qualified human resources, and international cooperation in genomics of microorganisms. The laboratory studies on gene and genome sequencing of valuable microorganism; studies of gene expression, biosynthesis of enzymes and bioactive compounds for medical and pharmaceutical use, as well as applied in agriculture, food industry and environmental remediation; studies on diversity and conservation of microbial genetic resources for diagnostics, therapy and other purposes; training and international cooperation in microbial genomics and other related fields.
